In honor and support of the life's work of Jose Arguelles, I have uploaded an enhanced 1.5 hr audio recording (with permission) of a talk given by him at Nakoda Lodge on the Stoney Indian Reserve west of Calgary on June 16, 1985. The audio has been extracted from a VHS tape recorded  during a weekend workshop I organized titled EARTH ASCENDING: Preparation For Planetary Empowerment.

In this talk, Arguelles presents a comprehensive overview of his book "Earth Ascending", the book which first brought forth his unique synthesis of Mayan calendar, I Ching/ DNA/chakras etc. and which supported his initial organizing efforts for Harmonic Convergence. 

The material presented here is not only pre-Harmonic Convergence, it is also pre-Internet and pre-Dreamspell (the innovative reworking of the traditional Mayan calendar conducted by Jose and wife Lloydine, after Harmonic Convergence.)

This is Arguelles at his finest and it is a must-see for anyone wishing to understand the breadth and depth of this visionary's life work, including his vision for PAN, the Planet Art Network.
