Teresa: We started with a finger painting in bright yellow. After carefully scrutinizing it we saw a landscape explosively emerging.

In our minds was the Sumatra earthquake and tsunami, which brought in the lunar year, resulting in waves of human compassion. With further brush strokes and splatters of paint there appeared an Earth Keeper, a Crystal Custodian, and a healer. A story developed with the landscape. Once upon a time in a land somewhere on Earth there was a little cabin by a waterfall wherein dwelt a person who guarded a sacred cave of crystals....

From the ashes of destruction arose a great phoenix, which found its perch at the top of the waterfall, guarding its territory.

This painting is still telling its story. More sunrises. More New Moons. More earthquakes. The never-ending pulse of the planet. I love this place. I have gone there in my dreams, become an adventurer. I am still finding the treasures hidden there.
