ARE NOT ALONE

Each year, when the Full Moon is in the
astrological sign of Sagittarius, people worldwide gather together
simultaneously, to create a Healing Ceremony For Planet Earth.
The purpose of the ceremony is to send a telepathic message of
healing across the Earth and into its Heart. Everyone is invited
to participate in co-creating this form of spiritual invocation.
Very simply, the Healing
Ceremony For Planet Earth involves simultaneously linking up
with each other, in a united act of prayer and invocation devoted
to healing the Earth, as ourselves.
Each participant is encouraged to follow his or her own heart
regarding where to be, what to say , what to do, etc. This is
a non-prescriptive, universal call to healing and everyone has
an important part to play in the ceremony. Just by being present
to the idea of global spiritual union on the day of the ceremony,
is a start.
One way to actively participate in the ceremony is to gather
together friends of like mind, and to create "sacred space"
wherever you are. This is mostly a matter of attitude and intent.
By making the space in which you dwell, "sacred", you
will be honoring the spirit of this annual ceremony, now more
than twenty years in duration. You will also be supporting the
prayerful affirmation released by Hopi Indian spiritual leaders
at the first ceremony: "Together with all peoples, we
protect both land and life, and hold the world in balance."
Gathering
with friends, at a beautiful natural spot at sunset on the
day of the ceremony, to witness the rising of the Full Moon,
is another way to participate. Some of you may wish to create
a medicine wheel of stones or other sacred objects in the shape
of the Hopi Indian shield shown at the top of this page. This
is a powerful way to continue to nourish the spirit of the ceremony
for weeks and months into the future as your sacred site becomes
"charged" with your own spiritual devotion. You may
find that it becomes the focus of a whole new part of your life
as each day brings forth more and more meaning-full experiences
centered on that spot.
The Healing Ceremony For Planet Earth is a form of sacred artistry
and it is truly up to you to seek out your creative response,
no matter where you are on the planet. Why not take up this challenge
to reveal to the rest of us, something of who you are?
