PLANET EARTH
SYNERGETICS
The science of fundamental patterns and
of the structural relationships between patterns, is called topology.
According to this science, all patterns are composed of three
basic elements: points, lines, and areas, bound by lines. A triangle
is the simplest pattern linking all of these elements and can
therefore be seen to be the basic building block of the patterning
process. This basic truth is what led Buckminster
Fuller to assert that "the universe is everywhere and
always triangulating".
Fuller combine topology, with vectoral geometry, to create a
new science, he termed synergetics. Synergetics, is based on
the notion that the behaviour of a whole system is unpredictable,
based on the observed behaviours of any of the system's separate
parts. In other words, the behaviour of a triangle cannot be
predicted simply by analysing its points, lines, or surface,
as separate factors. Instead, we must look to the whole system
for revelation about how its parts work together, ie. how they
synergize.
Addressing the global crisis of our times, Fuller sounded an
impassioned call for the development of what he called, an anticipatory
design science, a science based on the principle of synergy.
The lunation ritual technology described in these pages, is a
response to Fuller's plea. It is a spiritual technology meant
to initiate people into a path of action synergistically consolidating,
for individual and collective use, the seven powers of light
that animate all life.
The word synergy comes from the Greek syn-ergo, meaning "to
work together".It describes a mutually supportive atmosphere
of trust, where each individual element works towards its own
goals, and where the goals may be quite varied. Nonetheless,
because all elements of a synergetic system support one another,
they also support the whole.
As Peter
Russell explains, in his book The Awakening Earth, (p.96):
Synergy in social groups represent the extent to which the
activities of the individual support the group as a a whole.
Groups high in synergy tend to be low in conflict and aggression:
the social structures are such that the activity of the individual
is naturally in tune with the needs of others and to the needs
of the group." He goes on to say that "The amount
of synergy in society is a reflection of the way in which we
perceive ourselves in relation to the world around.."
HOMO SPIRITUS
Through use of the lunation
ritual technology described in these pages, we have a golden
opportunity to co-create, and sustain, a synergized field of
consciousness -- a pervasive and generative matrix of creativity.
This matrix could support substantially new and unique responses
to the many crises of a world in transition from one mental house,
to another; from an industrial world, to a post-industrial world;
from history to post-history. It could, in fact, be seen to be
the vanguard activity of a new human species, a species named
by visionary Robert Boissiere as Homo Spiritus: a species "exhibiting a powerful
inclination toward the spiritual aspects of life, in marked contrast
to our present preoccupation with all things material".
Within such a spiritualised
species, the movement toward wholeness and spirituality is entirely
self-chosen. Every step on the path of a spiritual life is valid
and important, just as every phase of a creative process is integral
and important to the whole. Each participant must focus his or
her intention, and make his or her lifestyle changes, changes
that will allow for sustained alignment to principles and practices
integral to this emerging world. The purpose of this book is
to make clear what some of these principles and practices are,
and to reveal the nature of a life of wholeness and plenitude
based on them.

TOPOCOSM
A topocosm is a model and map
of the boundary conditions comprising any whole system. In the
world of which I write, each one of us is considered to be an
integration of three fields of reference: the electromagnetic
field (Heaven), the biopsychic field (Man), and the gravitational
field (Earth).

According to this view, we
are spiritual beings having an earthy experience through the
mechanism of a sensory body. Our sense organs themselves, and
all other organs as well, are gravitationally aligned and regulated
by shifting tectonic plates just below the surface of the Earth.
Hence Earth is the primary factor within our model.
Earth draws to it, and consequently, to us Earth people, the
electromagnetic "starseed" of the galaxy. That electromagnetic
energy impacts our sense fields and is the raw data of our sensory
experience. As a field, it surrounds the Earth and is specifically
regulated by radiation belts at a distance of 2,000 miles and
11,000 miles from the surface of the planet. Within the zone
bounded by these two belts, heavy, proton particles emanating
from Galactic Centre, interact with lighter, electron radiation
emanated from the Sun. This interaction produces a double helix
wave-form that acts as a master template for the creation of
the DNA double helix on Earth.
In his book Earth Ascending, Jose'
Arguelles calls this master helix, the PSI bank: a "solar/galactic
binary resonance field", from which the planet weaves its
own time/space matrix. The PSI Bank is the realm of primary mythic
consciousness from which individual cultures weave their respective
webs. Within the terminology of our model, it is called Heaven.
Man, as the biopsychic field, represented in our model, refers
to the weaving of states of consciousness by the planetary organism
of humanity as a whole. As a single global entity, humanity processes
the raw electromagnetic data it receives through the senses of
its individual members. Each person contributes, in however incomplete
and seemingly insignificant a manner, an absolutely unique aspect
to this process.
And it is by bringing Heaven, Man and Earth, into harmony within
ourselves, that we, as whole beings on the planet, are able to
act as healing agents in an era of disintegration and imbalance.
Our personally--felt experiences of wholeness and integration,
are tangible manifestations of a healing force, alive and present
on planet Earth. To join with others, in a simultaneous, global
ceremony of attunement, can only enhance the efficacy of this
force.
Your participation in such a form of spiritual communion, will
naturally align your life to a transcendent rhythm of transformation
that will guide you to unexpected insights and perceptions. These
are true gifts of the spirit, gifts of understanding, gifts that
will cultivate wisdom within you. And as our wise friends, the
Hopi, know, these are the gifts that come to us when we adopt
the three-fold orientation to life advocated by Hopi: prayer,
ceremony, and the heart.
