It is both rare and auspicious when planet Venus, as Morning Star, rises precisely at the center of the zodiacal sign Taurus, coincident with both a New Moon and the Summer Solstice. In honor of this occasion, this ceremony and the related celebration VENUS RISING have been created.

For this event, meet at Noon at the entrance road to Dwayne Rourke's property, on the left side of the Whaletown Road, a kilometer east of the Y and just after the turnoff to Larsen's Meadow.

There will be an initial orientation, smudging and opening prayer followed by a ceremonial walk up the portion of Green Mountain encompassed by Dwayne 's property.

Everyone is invited to attend and each is encouraged to make prayer offerings at each of seven "chakra" altars on the land. Please also bring a small food offering for sharing afterwards.
