HEALING CEREMONY
FOR
PLANET EARTH 2002

On Sunday, May 26, 2002, the Moon
will wax to fullness in the astrological sign Sagittarius, in
complementary opposition to the Sun in the sign of Gemini. This
linkage represents a unique opportunity for like-minded, like-hearted
people throughout the planet to pay
special respect to the Earth as our common sacred home.
This annual cosmic alignment
of Sun and Moon presents humanity with a unique opportunity.
Whereas Gemini
represents men and women gathering in small groups centered on
communication, teaching, and the sharing of dreams and ideals,
Sagittarius
represents the fulfillment of those dreams and ideals through
an expanded and far-reaching alignment with humanity as-a-whole.
In rising to the challenge
of this cosmic opportunity, I invite you to join with me in co-creating
a ceremonial event in its honor. I am emulating the example set
by our indigenous ancestors, the Hopi. In 1976, native elders
from this sovereign independent nation known as the Hopi Sinom,
invited people worldwide to join with them in co-creating a Healing Ceremony for Planet Earth.
That ceremony, like the one I am proposing to you now, was timed
to coincide with the exact time of the Full Moon linking a Gemini
Sun and a Sagittarian Moon. Many people like myself responded
to the Hopi call that year. Personally I was so moved by what
occurred, that I have created an Earth Healing Ceremony, every
year since. This
year is no exception and I hereby invite you to join me.
There
is a real power in the conscious linking of hearts and minds
in this way. All you need do to participate is to open your heart
to its possibility and to simply be willing to act on inspiration
as it comes to you. This automatically
puts you into alignment with the cyclic unfoldment of natural
forces present within the Sun, the Moon, the Earth. You will
begin to perceive your unique alignment to these forces and will
be tangibly empowered by them to the extent that you can simply
allow yourself to be guided by synchronicities, in-the-moment.
These will inform you about your role.
May
the cosmic wind breathe life and love into your every cell and
inspire you to act in accord with this auspicious celestial moment.
